My focus is marketing qualified retirement plans to corporations and TriStar has greatly assisted us with our sales efforts. They quickly qualify suspects into either prospects or non-prospects. If the time is not right for a prospect, TriStar does a very good job of determining an appropriate follow-up schedule with the prospect so that the opportunity is captured when the time is more favorable. Invariably, when I finally get in front of the prospect the first part of the discussion is how much they have enjoyed talking with Cathy. When I meet with a prospect I have a good understanding of their current type of plan, amount of plan assets, and eligible participants from TriStar's notes. More important than these hard facts are the "soft facts" that TriStar captures for us. Knowing a decision-maker's likes and dislikes about their plan can really ramp-up the sales process.
